The licence for the daily free track
Every day we give away one music track on reelmusic.app/today. This page is the licence for those tracks. It is short on purpose.

Yours to use
- In any video, on any platform — Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts.
- In videos that earn money — ads, creator funds, sponsorships.
- For your business: your brand, your shop, your products.
- In work you make for a client, as part of their video.
- Edited however you like — cut, loop, layer speech over it.
- Forever, worldwide, at no cost. No credit needed.
Three things to avoid
- Do not register it with a content ID service or collecting society.
- Do not release it as your own music.
- Do not resell it or pass on the file itself.

1. What this covers
This licence covers the free track published on reelmusic.app/today on a given day, and downloaded from that page. It is granted to you, free of charge, when you download the track.
It does not cover tracks you generate yourself in the ReelMusic app. Those have their own licence in the Terms & EULA, Section 7.
2. What you may do
You get a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive licence, free of royalties, to use the track as part of your own content. In particular you may:
- Use it in videos on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and comparable platforms.
- Use it in videos that earn money — advertising revenue, creator funds, sponsorship.
- Use it for a business: your own products, services, shop or brand.
- Edit it — cut it, shorten it, loop it, layer it under speech or other sound.
- Use it in client work, as part of a video you produce for that client.
You do not need to credit us. A mention is welcome, never required.
3. What you may not do
Three restrictions. They exist because breaking any of them causes real harm to other people using the same track.
- No registration. Do not register the track, or claim exclusive rights in it, with any content-identification or fingerprinting system (for example YouTube Content ID), collecting society (for example GEMA), music-rights database or public register. Everybody who downloaded that day has the same track. One person registering it would generate false claims against all the others.
- No release as your own music. Do not publish the track as a music release — as a single, on a streaming service, on a music store — whether under your name or an artist name.
- No resale or redistribution. Do not sell the track, offer it for sale, or pass it on as an audio file: not on its own, and not as part of a music library, stock-music catalogue, sample pack, beat store or comparable offering. Use it inside your own content; do not make the track itself the product.
Two further limits: do not use the track in linear television, radio or cinema advertising without our written permission, and do not use it in content that is unlawful.
4. What we can and cannot promise
We want to be exact here, because the opposite is common and wrong.
The track is generated by AI. Purely AI-generated music may not qualify for copyright protection in some countries, including Germany, the rest of the EU and the United States, where human authorship is required. This licence therefore works in two ways at once: as a licence of such rights as exist and are held by us, and, for everything else, as our permission to use the track and our promise not to bring claims against you for using it as described here.
We do not control the platforms. The track is made so as not to reproduce existing recordings. But automated systems such as Content ID sometimes raise claims in error — through coincidental similarity, or because someone wrongly registered similar AI-generated material. If that happens to you, write to us and we will give you what we have: confirmation of when the track was generated and that you are licensed to use it. We cannot promise a platform will decide any particular way, and we do not defend claims on your behalf.
We also make no promise that the track is exclusive to you. It is not. Everyone who visited the page that day has the same file.
5. How long it lasts
The licence is perpetual. Once you have downloaded a track, you keep the right to use it as set out above — including in videos you publish later. The track leaving the page does not end your licence for the copy you downloaded.
The licence ends only if you break section 3. In that case it ends for that track, for you.
6. One track per day
A new track goes up each day and the previous one is removed. There is no archive and no way to reach an older track. This is deliberate: the point of the format is that today's track is available today.
